UK Cheese is a particularly aromatic and potent phenotype of Skunk #1 which was nurtured within the confines of a squatter collective near London in the early 1990s. It has since been crossed with an Afghani indica to increase yield and resin production. The other parent is Blueberry, a wonderful strain containing genetics from Mexico, Thailand and Afghanistan.
The resulting Blue Cheese is a strong plant that remains quite short and stocky producing extremely resinous buds in a little over 8 weeks of flowering. Yields are very good at approximately 500 gr/m2 indoors and between 600 – 900 gr/plant outdoors for a September harvest. The smell is rather funky and the taste is an intriguing blend of cheese with fruity notes. THC production is very good at 20%. Being 90% indica the effect of this strain is very relaxing and pleasant, ideal for curling up on the sofa and listening to your favourite music or watching a favourite TV programme.
